Southern Berkshire Ambulance Squad is not fully funded by our towns or by insurance reimbursements. Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements cover the majority of our operating costs, but recent federal cuts to these programs have created serious financial headwinds. Each year we work to close the gap between what we receive and what it costs to operate — and that gap is filled by generous donors like you.
